No Peace in Church!!!

First thought that came into my mind after taking this picture was how ironic this sign was (well, after i thought how bad the quality of it was and that i need a new phone asap!). We are in church right? Yet the sign is asking us not to shake hands as a sign of peace??

I understand it's flu season, and that the media has everybody shook with the Swine Flu outbreak (hoax! yes you heard it hear) but does the media & Swine flu even overpower GOD??
I mean, GOD is creator of bacteria, viruses and all illnesses and cures. So if you whole heartedly believe in him you shouldn't fear any of that, especially in his house (church) and while expressing a gesture of peace towards a fellow human that should not worry you. I don't say we should wipe each others snot and freely cough on each other and "let God handle it" but it seems like an oxymoron to me to avoid a handshake completely. If anything I would have been ok with signs asking you to be cautius this flu season & to be conciderate of the flu going around but banning hand shakes in church? Am I alone here?

ENVY vs. JEALOUSY

A conversation with a good friend inspired me to dust off my Blogger account and put this damn thing to use again after months of inactivity. Truth be told I'm an opinionated person who loves to share his thoughts so I knew I would come back to the blogosphere crawling eventually...lol

Random chatter got us talking about Envy and Jealousy, two of the most common feelings man experiences. While the conversation started off casual it quickly turned "deep" with my friend insisting that I was fooling myself because I wouldn't admit I have been jealous of people. I explained I have felt and still feel envy in certain situations but as far as jealousy i have never experienced it as an ADULT.
Before I even proceed the difference between the two needs to be highlighted: Envy is a desire for something a person has, while Jealousy has nothing to do with an "object" of desire, it's purely hate towards a persons success. For example I envy my boy SK cus he's always ahead of the game on fashion (and I kinda jock his style...lol), I envy my girl for having such a close relationship with her family, I envy my brother's strong character. I have no problem admitting that,because I still love them and don't wish them one ounce of negativity.
Now when we talk about JEALOUSY I can't find one person in this world I am jealous of PERIOD. When you are jealous of somebody you wish them bad, you want them to fail at whatever they do or to lose what they have and I have never experienced that in my life.

I can never wast my life wishing another person failure, rather I would use that energy to create myself a better situation. To me jealousy is the sister of failure, when you are unhappy with your life you wish misery to others.
One top of that I have no "enemies". I'm sure there are some people out there that can't stand me, who may be jealous of me or wish me bad, but I don't even waste my time thinking about them or who they might be.I TRUTHFULLY dont feel that way about anybody!
If that makes me abnormal im a freak!

Luckily his lying paid of because nobody was injured/ kidnapped/ robbed and this video came out of it...RAAAAAAAAAAWS!!!
